CAD Software

We utilize the CAD/CAM program called Fusion 360.  Below contains links for downloads, helpful tutorials and videos, and other news about this powerful design software.

Fusion 360 Student Download:  Fusion 360 is free, cloud-based, and collaborative.  It allows you to save your projects to the cloud,  making them accessible on a variety of computers (both Mac and PC).  The ability to share projects with group members means you can all work on the same files.

Fusion 360 Update - What's New?  One of the features I have been waiting for is finally here.  Importing .stl files as Meshes so they can be manipulated.  This allows us to import open-sourced designs or 3D scans and tinker with them.  Huge.

ReMake from Autodesk: Tailored to work with Fusion360, ReMake allows you to turn 3D scans or downloaded STL files into editable solid objects that can be incorporated into Fusion360.  For those of you looking to combine more artistic shapes, or scanned images into your CAD models, this program is very helpful.  Just use the same login info that you used to get Fusion 360.  ReMake is just as FREE!
