Course Resources

GanttPro:  Gantt Charts are used to map your group's progress throughout the course.  Timelines are visually obvious, percentages of finished work highlighted and important due dates and other milestones are documented.  Gantt Charts, in some fashion, are utilized by most designers and engineers.  We can get away with the FREE version.  We will export our Gantt Charts and print them on giant paper, hanging them in the makerspace.

Fusion 360 Tutorials:  This link is to Autodesk's (parent company of Fusion360) video tutorials for EVERYTHING we have covered in class.  Click on the Learn More links to go into menus with different options to review.

Fusion 360 YouTube Channel:  Over 400 tutorials, lessons and quick tips to trouble shoot any/all issues while working on CAD Modeling.

Human-Centered Design Methods:  Whether you are struggling to get organized, having difficulty processing multiple ideas, or not sure which steps to take to reach your goal, Design Kit has a method that can help.  Click on a tile to get more in-depth descriptions on how to best proceed through the design process.

Open-source CAD models:  Looking for a proverbial "wheel" that you do not want to reinvent?  Check out GrabCAD or Thingiverse or PartCloud or YouMagine.  Some require you to sign up with an email, but all contain free STL files to download.
